Based on true events in 1971, sixteen-year-old Justice Hayes becomes the first Black cheerleader in a newly integrated Texas high school.

When assigned to room together at cheer camp, Justice and fellow cheerleader Lynn Anderson quickly bond over their shared dreams and unwavering faith.

Despite their differences, their newfound friendship sets in motion a movement that will unite and change the school, the basketball team, and the community forever.
